About the author and narrator
When I first started to write about self-development, I dived deep into my own sense of self after a heartbreaking divorce. I had already mourned our divorce long before I served the papers to my now ex-husband, so when I finally left, I was only mourning what I found out afterwards. So many hidden wounds were layered into my daily life.
I left the luxury of being a carefree housewife, doing what pleased me in Los Angeles, to moving back home to Oslo with $400 to my name, living in my best friend’s apartment where two other strangers also lived with her. Although the external looked pretty jacked, my soul and heart were peaceful and satisfied with the decision.
Within weeks, I had gathered capital, tapped into my connections, gained autonomy of my new self, and started connecting with healthy relationships again. A completely new person.
One thing was bothering me: no one in my life could relate to anything I had going on. So I found myself slowly moving into a new self-isolating state of being, where the only focus was to rebuild what I once had before marriage and heal from wounds, turning them into scars.
DMs were flooding in when I first announced the divorce. Left to right, there was someone who wanted to either help, participate in the drama, or offer genuine help to soothe my mind. I stayed with my friend for around 3 weeks and found a new place myself.
Culture shock became a constant thing. I could not put my finger on what triggered this. Was it the fact that my lifestyle changed from the glitz and glam in Los Angeles to the cold and familiar norms in Norway? Could it maybe have been the fact that my frontal lobe was developing at a fast pace while simultaneously going through a bad breakup, or the fact that I had to rebuild my life from scratch one more time?
I had already gone through rebirths back to back since I was a child immigrating to Norway from my birth country.
«I can handle anything,» I whispered into the air almost every night in my friend’s large room, where she had both a living room and bed area combined. She worked night shifts, so I had enough space to mourn. I timed every heartache: 7 minutes per time or per day, added with pages of journals labeled «Thoughts».
Ever since I left my marriage, I have reached the highest version of my adult-self. Sophisticated, boundaries set and clear, new fitness-goals, business flourishing, peaceful and slow mornings with no one to answer to. Physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental. Everything was dealt with in a health, peaceful and steady phase with no scarcity attached to my name.
Finally, after 3 years, I elevated to frequencies in overall health leading to no one being allowed around me. A spiritual protection that repelled and punished those with negative intentions towards me. I witnessed it all, with confirmation. I craved companionship, but they didn’t last for long because no one was worthy. I became addicted to a private life where true companionship had to be earned exponentially.
I balanced work and private projects to profitable businesses like a pro. In this book, I will teach that with my odds, you can become and do much better.
Life can test us all in different ways, and you can survive anything thrown at you while thriving.
This is life. But it is up to us how we choose to fight. Some people fight with swords. Others use words or reckless actions. In this book, we focus on self-care and internal optimism doing little to no actions. Intellect in human behaviour gets us much farther then working hard in an unfair world. Before understanding the game of life, we must first learn our humanity to its core. What you most desire, seeks you as well. But first you must tap into all your sensitive senses triggering who you are; a human being.
